The pools run parallel to one another, with the closer to the shore shallow enough for children. It measures 45 by 30 feet. The other pool measures 90 by 30 feet. Adjacent lie 100 yards of pink sand along the turquoise ocean.
Insider tip: Tracing its lineage on the island to 1630, the Dill family is one of the oldest in Bermuda. The property on which the resort stands has been in the family since the 1840s. Family members remain shareholders and include actor Michael Douglas, son of a Dill (Diana), and actor/father Kirk Douglas. Photographs of Michael Douglas and other Dill family members adorn public rooms. Although he and actress/wife Catherine Zeta Jones own a house on Bermuda, they and their children still pay occasional visits to the resort. The resort's health and beauty spa offers massage, body treatments, and facials in addition to waxing and hair/nail care. Massage options include Swedish, Reiki, and aromatherapy; body treatment choices include Salt Glow Rub and mud, seaweed, and herbal wraps; facials include deep pore cleansing, deep hydration, and fruit acid treatment. Other facilities include a fitness center and a video game arcade.
